What's in the golf scorecard template
The template is a single Scorecard sheet laid out like a standard 18-hole card: a par row for each hole, and a strokes row for up to 4 players across the front nine, back nine, and totals.
It follows the same layout golfers already know from a printed course scorecard, so there's nothing new to learn — just holes across the top and players down the side.
What calculates automatically
OUT (front nine total), IN (back nine total), and the 18-hole total calculate for each player as strokes are entered hole by hole — no manual addition at the turn or at the end of the round.
The scorecard also shows each player's score versus par, so you can see who's up or down without doing the subtraction yourself, for all 4 players at once.
Why this beats a blank spreadsheet
A blank spreadsheet for a scorecard means building the 18-hole grid, wiring up OUT/IN/total sums for every player, and adding a vs-par formula — easy to get wrong for one player and not notice until the round's over.
