The open dataset of US search demand for spreadsheet templates holds 1,008 keywords, 200,090 estimated searches a month and 16 categories. The episode reads the shape of that demand, compares categories that are deep against categories that are wide, and covers three findings that ran against expectation.

How the show is made

Every episode is built from one file that is already published and downloadable. Before recording, each spoken figure is listed in a fact table and recomputed from the source CSV by a script; the episode is only rendered when that check reports no discrepancy. Nothing is quoted from a third-party study, and no figure is estimated on air.

The narration is produced with a text-to-speech voice, not a human reader. The dataset, the category labels and the analysis are ours, and the limits of each file are stated inside the episode rather than in a footnote.
