Frequently asked questions
How is OBP calculated in this tracker?
OBP is hits plus walks, divided by at-bats plus walks. It doesn't separately include hit-by-pitch or sacrifice flies, which most rec-league scorebooks don't track either.
What counts as a divide-by-zero for AVG?
Any player with zero at-bats logged shows a blank AVG, OBP or SLG instead of an error - the formulas are guarded against it.
How are total bases calculated?
A single counts as 1 base, a double as 2, a triple as 3 and a home run as 4. SLG is total bases divided by at-bats.
Can I use this in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the downloaded file to Google Drive, then open it and choose File > Save as Google Sheets. All the stat formulas keep working.
How many players can I track?
Up to 25 players on the Player Stats sheet, with a team summary rolling up totals and averages below the roster.
What's the usage license?
Personal use for your own team. It's not meant to be resold or redistributed as a template product.
