What's in the DJ song list
The DJ Song List sheet holds up to 150 songs. For each one, pick the sequence from a dropdown (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, first dance, or party/dancing), then enter title, artist and duration in minutes.
Below the table, total minutes and song count calculate automatically for each of the five sequences, plus total songs logged and total playlist minutes across the whole event.
Why organize music by sequence
Handing your DJ or band one long undifferentiated list makes it harder for them to know what's playing during the ceremony versus dinner versus the dance floor. Sorting or filtering by sequence gives them a clean, section-specific list.
The per-sequence minute totals also help you plan timing - if dinner music is running 45 minutes but your reception dinner is scheduled for 60, you know you have room for a few more songs.

How is total minutes per sequence calculated?
It sums the duration column for every song tagged with that sequence, using SUMIF - so it stays accurate as you add or remove songs.
Do I have to fill in duration for every song?
No, duration is optional per song, but the more you fill in, the more accurate the per-sequence and total playlist minutes become.
How many songs can this hold?
Up to 150 songs across all five sequences on the DJ Song List sheet.
Can I use this in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the downloaded file to Google Drive, open it, then choose File > Save as Google Sheets.
Does this check song licensing for my venue?
No. This organizes and totals the songs you plan to use - it doesn't stream music or verify licensing requirements for your venue or DJ.
